OVERVIEW
This modified 2000 Honda Civic DX hatchback is powered by a 616-horsepower B18C5 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a Full Blown Motorsports turbocharger kit and intercooler, and a five-speed manual transaxle, which was reportedly sourced from an Acura Integra GS-R. Additional modifications include Hondata engine management, a TiAL wastegate and blow-off valve, 15-inch Civic Type R-style wheels, AMR Engineering coilovers, Recaro bucket seats, and a flip-out head unit. Finished in white over a red and gray cloth interior, this custom sixth-generation Civic is now offered by the selling dealer with a CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The white finish received a recent two-step paint correction and the application of Modesta ceramic coating. In addition to the installation of a front lip, carbon fiber hood, and rear spoiler, the exterior received Civic Type R-style headlights, mirror caps, and rocker decals. The selling dealer notes that the front splitter has some damage.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
White 15-inch Civic Type R-style five-lug wheels are wrapped in 205/50 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires. The wheels show some wear per the selling dealer.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with red cloth Recaro front bucket seats and a gray cloth split-folding rear bench, all of which are said to have been sourced from a Civic Type R. Equipment includes a Phase Linear flip-out audio head unit, an A'PEXi turbo timer, a Momo steering wheel, red Civic Type R floor mats, manual-crank windows, and an upholstered center armrest. Wear and discoloration are visible on the front seats, according to the selling dealer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a custom gauge cluster with a speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The odometer reads 2,189 miles, which per the selling dealer is indicative of the mileage accrued since this custom build was completed; the true mileage on the chassis is unknown. The most recent mileage logged in the CARFAX report was 94,746 miles in May 2015.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The upgraded B18C5 1.8-liter inline-four has been dyno-rated at 616 horsepower. Performance equipment includes a Full Blown Motorsports turbocharger kit and intercooler, Darton cylinder sleeves, revised valvetrain components, high-performance pistons and connecting rods, Hondata engine management, and a TiAL wastegate and blow-off valve. Power is sent to the front wheels via a console-shifted five-speed manual transaxle that was reportedly sourced from an Acura Integra GS-R.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Chassis upgrades include AMR Engineering coilovers, Skunk2 Racing camber arms, and a Password JDM strut tower bar. Stopping power is provided by red brake calipers over slotted rotors at all four corners. The CARFAX report states that the CV boots were replaced in 2015.
