This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is a two-owner vehicle that has covered just over 11k miles from new. It's powered by a modified 5.4-liter supercharged V8 producing 630 horsepower paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in Torch Red, the body features dual silver stripes over a charcoal leather interior. The vehicle was originally sold in White Hall, Maryland, and has resided in the same area throughout its lifetime. Equipment includes custom suspension, upgraded supercharger, and Brembo brakes. Located in Bel Air, Maryland, this GT500 is now offered with a CARFAX report on a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.
The vehicle is finished in Torch Red with dual satin silver racing stripes on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. GT500 decals are equipped on the sides along with Cobra badging, and the car has both front and rear spoilers. Additional features include an aluminum hood with air extractors, unique to this model, and fog lamps up front. A 3-inch exhaust is equipped with dual polished tips exiting under the rear bumper.
Factory 18” machined aluminum wheels are mounted to 255/45 tires up front and 285/40 in the rear. The SVT-tuned factory suspension has been lowered 2" from stock, and the braking system is equipped with Brembo disc brakes up front.
The interior is fitted with black carpeting and black leather bucket seats with a Cobra logo embroidered in the seatbacks. Features include air conditioning, Shaker Stereo with subwoofer, illuminated entry, remote keyless entry, and a power-6-way driver’s seat. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift boot feature red contrast stitching and Cobra embroidered floor mats protect the carpet.
Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer reads just over 11k miles, which are original to the vehicle.
The 5.4-liter V8 has an upgraded supercharger pulley and a KTM cool-air induction air filter, along with other modifications that increase the horsepower to 630, according to the seller. The seller indicates that maintenance was performed at a specialty private garage, and documentation is available. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record. There is an open recall dating back to February 2008 on the passenger airbag. The sale includes the car’s stock engine components.
