OVERVIEW

This 1998 Jaguar XJR sport sedan was manufactured in Coventry, England, and has been maintained exclusively in California as shown via over 40 service records on the CARFAX report. Power comes from an AJ26S supercharged 4.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is appointed with heated and power-adjustable front bucket seats in Oatmeal leather, matched to the rear bench as well as the door panels, center console, and lower dash portions. Amenities include wood trim, cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette audio system with a trunk-mounted CD changer, a leather and wood multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, speed-sensitive power steering, and a power-adjustable steering column. INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 170-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 126,570 miles, which is in line with the most recent figure of 126,533 miles logged in the CARFAX report in February 2023.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The AJ26S supercharged 4.0-liter V8 resides under a forward-hinged hood and was rated at 370 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque when new. The valve cover gaskets and fluids were changed in 2021, the engine mounts were replaced in 2020, and the drive belts were replaced in 2019, according to the CARFAX report.
