Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This frame-off-restored 1937 Chevrolet Master Town Sedan is powered by a 350cid V8 backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power rack-and-pinion steering, power front disc brakes, a Chassis Engineering Mustang II-style independent front suspension system, an Air-tique climate control system, a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a tilt steering column. Finished in Cyclamen Metallic over a custom beige tweed interior, this Chevrolet comes with build sheets and a clear title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration completed in 2005, the all-steel body was finished in Cyclamen Metallic. Features include a chrome front bumper, a body-color grille molded to the grille shell, custom front turn signals, halogen headlights, smooth steel running boards, dual mirrors, a filled cowl vent, Speciality Power Windows windshield wipers, a power antenna, a shaved trunk lid, a Hagan fuel door, a frenched license plate, custom tail lights, and a shaved rear bumper.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of polished aluminum 15-inch Billet Specialties wheels is wrapped in 205/60 front and 225/70 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front Honda bucket seats and the rear seat were upholstered in beige tweed. Features include manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, Ron Francis wiring, an overhead console-mounted Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo, a floor-mounted Gennie automatic transmission shifter, a three-spoke aluminum Lecarra steering wheel, and an Air-tique climate control system.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The set of VDO gauges includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The odometer reads 18,000 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 1989 GM 350cid V8 and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with a 2,000-rpm-stall converter. Engine bay features include black Moroso valve covers, a Holley Street Avenger intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome K&N air cleaner, an HEI distributor, a Walker Radiator Works radiator, block-hugger tube headers, a serpentine belt engine accessory drive system, and a Bitchin Products firewall.

UNDERCARRIAGE
