OVERVIEW
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a reportedly numbers-matching L76 327cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Delco AM/FM radio, power windows, a Vintage Air climate control system, power steering, an aluminum GM Winters foundry intake manifold, and 15-inch reproduction knock-off-style wheels. Finished in Satin Silver and equipped with a black convertible top over a black leather interior, this Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the factory color of Satin Silver (code 940). Features include chrome bumpers, hide-away headlights, a driver-side mirror, rocker panel trim, a manual black vinyl convertible top with a plastic rear window, and a rear-mounted antenna.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch reproduction knock-off-style wheels is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather and flanked by silver door panels (code 899AE). Features include power windows and steering, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, Vintage Air climate controls, a Delco AM/FM radio, and a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a working clock, and gauges for the fuel level, temperature, battery, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 55,114 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an L76 327cid V8 with casting number 3782870 and stamp code RE. When new, the engine was equipped with a high-performance high-lift camshaft and produced 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. That output is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum Corvette valve covers, a GM Winters foundry aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, and a chrome distributor cover.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

@EngineAl – No mention of restoration. Is this a survivor? If not a survivor, when was the restoration completed and is there documentation? Also, you say ”when new” regarding the L76 motor and its HP. Has the motor been rebuilt, modified or in stock condition from the factory. ...
We received a handful of receipt for maintenance / service / upgrades invoicing completed by Hill Country Vette's here in TX from 2012 - 2022. One invoice included, shows the motor overhaul at the end of 2014 when mileage was showing 53,780 and current odometer showing 55,177 a difference around 1,400 miles since being built then. Paint was done prior to those receipts received and was repainted in the factory color.
