OVERVIEW

This frame-off-restored 1960 Ford Thunderbird convertible is a 2003 Antique Automobile Club of America Senior National First Prize Award winner powered by a 352cid V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in turquoise and equipped with a power white convertible top over a turquoise leather interior, this Thunderbird comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch chrome Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels is wrapped in 205/75 whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in turquoise leather (code 87). Features include power windows and steering, a steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a center console, a Magic Aire System heater, and an AM radio.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 140-mph speedometer, clock, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 83,151 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Unfortunately to bid on one of thee you must actually see the top at start, 3/4 and closed to have any idea of the costs associated with the ownership of the vehicle. If I were selling such a vehicle I would post all of the above and a picture of the top well after the top has cleared it. A good picture of all that would be very indicitive of the condition of the rest of the vehicle along with an explanation for the footwell extension work on the passenger side.

@Ranchero89 – Looks like it's got some rust in the front edge of the hood? How can we get some more close up photos? ...

Agreed. Any updates on this question? Thanks

I would want all those questions answered before I bid. Not receiving any answers from the seller is suspicious of it's true condition
