OVERVIEW
This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu convertible is powered by a period-correct, non-original 327cid V8 backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, and an AM radio. Finished in black and equipped with a power black vinyl convertible top over a reupholstered black vinyl interior, this Malibu comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
Originally finished in Ermine White (code 936), the body has been resprayed in black. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille with bright trim, side moldings, wheel opening and rocker moldings, a driver-side mirror, a rear-mounted antenna, a power black vinyl convertible top, a black vinyl convertible top boot, and rear body trim. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 14-inch Chevrolet Rally wheels with center caps and trim rings is wrapped in 205/70R14 Toyo 800 Plus whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat and rear seat have been reupholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual windows, power steering, an AM radio, and a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, clock, and fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 42,605 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a period-correct, non-original 327cid V8 and backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. The engine block reportedly has an S suffix code. A safety inspection was recently performed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
