OVERVIEW
This 1991 Acura NSX mid-engined sports car was initially delivered to Pompano Beach Imports in Florida and has covered 15,900 miles since new. It is powered by an unmodified 3.0-liter V6 with VTEC variable valve timing mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Service includes a timing belt replacement at an Acura dealer within the past year. Finished in Formula Red over a black leather interior, this first-year NSX is now offered with service records, a window sticker, owner’s booklets, a CARFAX report, and a clear title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The factory-applied Formula Red (code R77) paint coats the aluminum body panels with the exception of the contrasting gloss black roof. In 2003, the front bumper cover was replaced under prior ownership. Exterior features include retractable projector beam headlights, vented rear fenders, a rear window defroster, an integrated spoiler with an LED brake lamp, and dual chrome exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
The 15-inch front and 16-inch rear forged aluminum five-spoke wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires that were installed in 2008.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit is fitted with black leather power-adjustable bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include power windows, power door locks, cruise control, a Bose audio system, automatic climate control, a driver-side airbag, a tilt and telescoping steering column, rack-and-pinion steering, and power mirrors. A compact spare tire is stored in the front compartment.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 188-mph speedometer, a 9,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 15,900 miles, which aligns with the most recent mileage of 15,841 recorded on the CARFAX report in October 2022.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The unmodified mid-mounted 3.0-liter DOHC V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque when new. A major service was performed in October 2022 at Don Jenkins Acura in Ocala, Florida, and included the replacement of the timing belt and transmission fluid. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The brake fluid was replaced in October 2022 during the aforementioned dealer service. Chassis underpinnings consist of a forged aluminum double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars and gas shock absorbers.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report begins in April 1991 and shows ownership in Florida through 2000, followed by Tennessee, and Florida again starting in 2020. A damage report was filed in late 2003 involving damage to the front of the vehicle. According to the seller, this was related to road debris damage under prior ownership; the bumper was subsequently replaced and refinished. The sale includes service records, owner’s booklets, and a window sticker showing an original retail price of $61,600.
A series of nonconstructive comments have been removed from a user who created their account just to comment on this listing. As per the seller, he has tried to sell the vehicle previously, unsuccessfully. AutoHunter insisted on a sending out a professional photographer to freshen up the listing, and to present the car transparently in it's current condition. The Carfax is available for anyone to see using the Carfax link at the top of the page or by pasting this link into your browser. https://www.carfax.com/fsb/report?token=GD13IjdDstMZRcs1XpHiow

It sold in 20019,on bat.The deal was never completed. Anyone who is going to purchase this car will obviously do a complete inspection of the vehicle paperwork, and inspection of the car. It is exactly as I have stated, a concourse quality car with 2 owners. Enough said.
The car didn't make the reserve.
since we are near the end could you please verify why the car shows up in multiple auctions , including bat and hemmings . was that you buying and selling ?
