OVERVIEW
This right-hand-drive 1963 Jaguar Mk II project car is equipped with an inoperative 3.8-liter I6 and a four-speed manual transmission, both of which were reportedly sourced from a Jaguar E-Type. Features include fog lights, bucket seats, a telescopic steering column, a Becker AM/FM radio, and cruise control. Finished in metallic green over a gray leather interior, this Jaguar comes from the selling dealer with a pair of later-model seats, two extra doors, an extra trunk lid, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in an older aftermarket metallic green paint job. Features include chrome bumpers and grille, fog lights, a fender-mounted antenna, and rear wing windows. The seller states that rust is present at the bottom of the doors and trunk lid.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 15-inch steel wheels with chrome Jaguar hubcaps is wrapped in older radial tires that need to be replaced.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with gray leather front bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by gray door panels and trim. Features include right-hand drive, manual windows, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, a telescopic steering column, cruise control, a Becker AM/FM radio, and woodgrain accents.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, amps, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 7,030 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by the DOHC 3.8-liter I6 and four-speed manual transmission from a Jaguar E-Type, according to the seller. They state that the engine does turn, but does not run.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Jaguar was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include a pair of later-model seats, two extra doors, and an extra trunk lid with the purchase of the car.

@Essextrp – Just a note on the engine fitted to the car. It is not an Etype motor as described in the listing but a 3.8lt motor from a MK10. Well at least the cylinder head and triple carb set up. The ZA designation on the head is for a MK10 and the 3 SU's have the MK10 AED, Automatic Enrichment Device (automatic choke). If these were Etype 2" SU's they would have a manual choke. It still is a 9:1 compression 3.8 all the same. With the exception of the oil filter, oil pan, choke and some front drive details the same as the Etype motor. ...
Thank you for the information! I was just going off of what we were told by the previous owner. Much appreciated!

@boardhoarder – Welcome to our 1963 Jaguar MKII auction! This car is a great start for someone to restore or put their own custom spin on it and drive and enjoy. As noted in the description, it has received a 3.8l engine and 4-speed manual transmission swap from an E-type. I will be posting a video soon showing that the engine does, indeed, turn over freely. Also note that it comes with two spare doors and a trunk lid, as well as a full set of seats from an XJ model. The car is located in Monterey, CA and we encourage any interested parties to come inspect it in person. I will answer all questions to the best of my ability and if I don't know the answer, I will find it. Thanks for looking and good luck! ...
