OVERVIEW
This restored 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is powered by a new 350cid V8 crate engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include removable Fischer roof panels, power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows and locks, a Blaupunkt AM/FM/cassette stereo, a tilt steering column, and air conditioning. Finished in black over a reupholstered black vinyl interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration under previous ownership, the body was refinished in black and given a new Z28 decal package. Features include urethane bumpers, a front spoiler, a hood scoop, dual mirrors with a manual driver-side remote, black window trim, tinted Fischer removable roof panels, and a rear spoiler.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch gold Z28 steel wheels is wrapped in 255/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat have been reupholstered in black vinyl. Features include power windows and locks, a tilt steering column, power steering, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a Blaupunkt AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, a new black padded dashboard, and a new headliner.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 52,444 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a new 350cid V8 crate engine equipped with a new smog pump and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
