OVERVIEW

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The supercharged and intercooled 4.2-liter V8 was rated at 390 horsepower and 399 lb-ft of torque when new. A recent $1,300 service was performed and included a synthetic oil change and the replacement of the supercharger hoses. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted ZF six-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. Handling is assisted by Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) along with a Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS).
