OVERVIEW
This restored 1963 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe is powered by a 350cid V8 crate engine backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering and brakes and a RetroSound AM/FM radio. Finished in red over a red vinyl and cloth interior, this Impala comes on consignment from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the body was finished in red. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille, a fender-mounted antenna, dual mirrors, rocker and body side trim, and a silver rear taillight panel. An exterior walkaround video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of Chevrolet Rally wheels with bright center caps and trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat and the rear seat are upholstered in red vinyl with red cloth seating areas. Features include red door panels with manual windows, a steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a RetroSound digital AM/FM radio, and red trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, factory tachometer, and fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. Two aftermarket gauges for the coolant temperature and oil pressure are located under the dash. The odometer reads 20,597 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350cid V8 crate engine and backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a chrome air cleaner housing, and tube exhaust headers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid 10-bolt rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
