OVERVIEW
This 1959 Studebaker Lark restomod coupe delivers small-block V8 power through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension, power front disc brakes, power steering, and a refurbished interior complete with a custom center console, air conditioning, and a radio. Finished in black over a two-tone gray leather, vinyl, and cloth interior, this modified Lark is now offered with a clear title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The black exterior has been repainted and received re-chromed trim and refurbished stainless accents. Features include dual mirrors, wrap-around moldings, script badging, an antenna, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel wheels with full covers are wrapped in whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is furnished with two-tone gray leather, vinyl, and cloth bucket seats, split by a custom center console with dual cup holders and matched to the rear seat, door panels, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include a power driver's seat, an AM/FM radio, air conditioning, power steering, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel, and a trunk-mounted spare tire.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The Classic Instruments gauges include a 140-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The odometer reads 2,500 miles; the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The small-block V8 engine received a recent fluid change. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Underpinnings have been updated with a Ford Mustang II-style front end. Braking is power-assisted with discs up front and drums in the rear.
