The 17-inch front and 18-inch rear Z06 wheels are wrapped in the original 265/40 front and 295/35 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.

The dealer states that the passenger-side window does not roll down.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 18,948 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate. The last mileage figure of 511 was logged on the CARFAX report in May 2004.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The fuel-injected LS6 5.7-liter V8 was rated at 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque from the factory. Drivetrain equipment remains unmodified from new. The engine reportedly received an oil change this year. Output is transferred to the back wheels via a console-shifted six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with a 3.42:1 gear ratio.  

UNDERCARRIAGE

Compared to the regular Corvette, the Z06 left the factory with a larger front stabilizer bar and a higher spring rate. Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Corvette-branded calipers. Stability is assisted via Active Handling and traction control systems.
