OVERVIEW
This 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 two-door sport utility vehicle is powered by a Vortec 5.7-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It has been California- and Nevada-owned since new and comes with an upgraded Pioneer audio system, 20-inch wheels, custom upholstery, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in red over a black and red leather and microfiber interior, this first-generation Tahoe is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red exterior is accentuated with billet grille inserts, charcoal bumpers, clear marker lamps, color-keyed fender flares and mirror caps, roof rails, a sunroof, a hitch receiver, and a dual exhaust system with chrome outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Satin black 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with black and red leather and suede-like microfiber captain’s chairs up front, a bench in the rear, and matching door panels, dash, center console, headliner, and carpeting. Features include an upholstered dashboard with contrast stitching, tinted windows, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt and telescoping steering column, power steering, power door locks, and an upgraded Pioneer audio system with GPS navigation and an enclosure in the cargo area with dual 12-inch Alpine subwoofers.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and supporting gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 151,439 miles, which is in line with the most recent figure of 148,524 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in 2022.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The Vortec 5.7-liter V8 was rated at 255 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque when new and has been upgraded with a PowerCore air filter. The CARFAX report shows that service was performed at 147,626 miles in 2021. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by power anti-lock brakes with discs up front and drums in the rear.

The truck is being sold under consignment with us and the lights were notated as working when the vehicle was brought in, I assume that the blub has gone out since. We do not work on the vehicles so the light has not been diagnosed. Please feel free to hold back your bid if the bulb being out makes you uncomfortable. You are correct, very clean used truck overall. ...
