Ex-Steve McQueen 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Convertible

OVERVIEW

This 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe convertible is an older restoration that was personally owned by Steve McQueen and featured in his 1980 movie "The Hunter" and two episodes of Pawn Stars. It is powered by a 235cid inline six-cylinder backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Features include accessory bumper guards, rear wheel skirts, and a power convertible top. Finished in Moonlight Cream and equipped with a black convertible top over a black vinyl interior, this restored Chevrolet Styleline comes from the selling dealer with vehicle and ownership documentation and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the body was finished in Moonlight Cream. Features include chrome bumpers with accessory overrider bumper guards, a fender-mounted antenna, a driver-side mirror, rocker and rear fender trim, rear fender skirts, and a black cloth power convertible top. The selling dealer states that minor rock chips are visible.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of Moonlight Cream steel wheels with stainless steel hubcaps and trim rings is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front seat, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual windows, a column-mounted manual transmission shifter, an original AM radio, black trim, and white accents.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, amps, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 65,132 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 235cid inline six-cylinder and backed by a three-speed manual transmission. A safety inspection was recently completed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with a closed driveline. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear.
