OVERVIEW
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible receives power from a 283cid V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and comes with a Wonder Bar radio, Hankook whitewall tires, full gauges, and chrome brightwork. Finished in red with white coves and equipped with a black retractable top over a black vinyl interior, this C1 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red body has white coves and chrome brightwork for the bumpers, window trim, handles, and driver-side mirror housing. Exterior features include quad headlights, a split rear bumper, and a plastic rear window for the black convertible top.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with polished wheel covers and knock-off-style center caps are wrapped in Hankook Kinergy ST whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit is fitted with black vinyl buckets, matched to the door panels, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include a Wonder Bar push-button radio, a clock, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a heater, a passenger grab-handle, and a vinyl trunk mat.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a central 7,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads about 250 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 283cid V8 features a dual four-barrel carburetor setup and received a recent oil change. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
