OVERVIEW

This 1978 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce receives power from a SPICA fuel-injected 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It has an upgraded Pioneer audio system, woodgrain interior trim, Ronal wheels with Goodyear tires, and Jaeger instrumentation. INTERIOR – GAUGES

The Jaeger instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 42,019 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The SPICA mechanically fuel-injected “Iniezione” 2.0-liter inline-four is reportedly original to the car and has a small oil leak. A safety inspection has been carried out by the selling dealer. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted five-speed manual transmission.
