Vehicle Story

This 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK 500 convertible is a 2-owner, dealer-maintained, low-mileage original car with newly replaced hydraulics for the power-operated top and 17” alloy wheels and a full leather interior.  This CLK 500 is finished in Silver Metallic is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission.  The car was originally sold in Illinois and has spent its life in Illinois and Florida, receiving consistent dealership maintenance.  Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, this CLK 500 is now offered with a clean CARFAX report on a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is painted Silver Metallic with a power-operated black cloth retractable top and equipped with factory fog lamps in the front bumper. It features a chrome grille with a Mercedes-Benz emblem as well as a flush-mounted hood ornament.  The side view mirrors contain integrated turn signals, and the rear of the car has a trunk lid-mounted third brake lamp and single-exit polished exhaust.  The hydraulic pumps for the convertible top have been replaced and function with no issue.

Factory 5-spoke 17” aluminum wheels with Mercedes-Benz logo center caps are equipped.  The car features power steering, power anti-lock disc brakes, and a traction-control system.

The interior is fitted with gray carpeting and gray leather bucket seats with matching pleated leather door panels.  The seating configuration is 2+2, and the side panels and center console are trimmed in light burled woodgrain accents.  The glass is factory tinted, and the factory AM/FM/CD audio system is retained as well as heated front seats.

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, as well as an analog clock and readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level.  The multi-function center display provides information for the external temperature as well as other pertinent vehicle info.  The digital odometer reads 48k miles, which are original to the vehicle.

The 5.0-liter V8 is original to the vehicle and was factory-rated at 302 horsepower.  The CARFAX report indicates that recommended maintenance was performed at Mercedes-Benz of Bonita Springs in February 2018.  The air conditioning system was serviced in April 2017, and the valve cover gasket was replaced in February 2016.  Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission and a console-mounted shift lever.

The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record.
