This 1974 Plymouth Duster is a matching-numbers original car that was professionally restored and features factory-equipped with air conditioning and bucket seats. It is finished in red over a white vinyl interior and is powered by its original 360ci V8 paired with a TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission. The current owner has owned the vehicle for about 30 years, and the car was sold new in New Jersey, then spent time in Puerto Rico before being relocated to Florida. Located in Saint Johns, Florida, this Duster is now offered on a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The vehicle is painted red and was professionally repainted at some time under previous ownership. It is accented by a black dual hood scoop, chrome bumpers with guards, and other chrome trim for the side view mirrors and window surrounds. There is a dual exhaust system with exits below the rear bumper.
Factory silver-painted 15” steel wheels with trim rings are mounted to new Cooper Cobra Radial A/T raised-white-letter tires on all four corners.
The interior is fitted with black carpeting and white vinyl bucket seats. The factory radio is fitted in the dash, while the shifter is mounted on the floor. Air conditioning was equipped from the factory, though it is not functional at the current time due to not being converted to run on modern refrigerant.
Instrumentation includes a rectangular 120-mph speedometer as well as accompanying gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The 5-digit odometer reads 86k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The 360ci V8 is matching-numbers original to the car and recently rebuilt, equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and factory-style air cleaner. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
