OVERVIEW
This 1967 Ford Mustang convertible was repainted under prior ownership and is powered by a rebuilt 302cid V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes Shelby GT350-style aluminum wheels, a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel, fog lamps, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in red and equipped with a beige soft top over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a convertible boot, receipts, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was repainted red under prior ownership. Features include fog lamps, hood air inlets, side mirrors, chrome bumpers, rocker decals, and a dual exhaust system. The dealer notes some blemishes on the hood, paint cracking near the rear, and a few touch-up areas around the body. In addition, the zipper for the beige soft top's plastic rear window is inoperative.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Shelby GT350-style aluminum wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted with black vinyl low-back bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching trim for the door panels, dash, lap belts, and carpeting. Features include a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel, a JVC radio, and Mustang-branded carpeted floor mats.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 29,535 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The upgraded 302cid V8 has been overhauled and fitted with new rod bearings. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed automatic transmission. A safety inspection has been performed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Braking is power-assisted.
