Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is powered by a 350cid small-block V8 coupled with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. Equipment includes Rally wheels, a cowl hood, fog lamps, a center console, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in metallic blue and accented with white striping over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior received a respray under prior ownership in metallic blue with white accent striping on the hood and decklid. Features include a cowl-induction hood, auxiliary lighting, Z/28 badging, an antenna, rocker moldings, a driver-side mirror, a spoiler, and a dual exhaust system. The car bears 302 emblems although the current motor’s displacement is 350cid. The selling dealer notes that there are some blemishes in the paint.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Rally 15-inch wheels with polished trim rings and chrome center caps are wrapped in 215/60 front and 245/60 rear Mastercraft Avenger Radial GT tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching trim for the door panels, padded dash, center console, headliner, and carpeting. Features include floor mats, wood trim, a Realistic cassette radio, a heater, manual-crank windows, and aluminum sill plates.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation ahead of the driver includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 69,509 miles, which the seller states is a true reading. In addition, they state the title for this car is marked as having the actual mileage on it.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 350cid small-block V8 replaces the car’s former 302cid engine, although the motor breathes through an air cleaner with a 302cid Turbo-Fire decal on it. Power is directed to the back wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end with 4.11:1 gearing. A safety inspection has been performed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Braking is power-assisted.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The selling dealer has provided videos with a start-up, an engine bay view, an exhaust sound clip, and a drive-by.

If it's a 4 bolt main motor, HP would be 360 and adds a bit of up value to your girl. If you could varify this you will get more $ Nice looker and driver I'm sure!

@69ZGuy – Looks like a nice driver car! Is the Blue and White the original color she was painted matching color code on trim tag? Do you know if the trans and rear are numbers matching to the car? ...

The blue and white was not the original color. We believe the transmission and rear end are original but we don't know that for sure.
