This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible comes from a 25-year long-term private collection and has been mechanically restored, complete with newer tires, upgraded disc brakes, a new radiator, and a new heater core. It is finished in blue over a black vinyl bucket seat interior and is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Located in Palm Coast, Florida, this C2 Corvette is now offered on a clean title in the seller’s name.
The car is painted blue metallic and was changed from its factory shade of Riverside Red while retaining its original fenders and bonding strips. The car features retractable headlights, quad round taillights, and a retractable white cloth top. Brightwork and trim include a single side-view mirror on the driver’s side, lower rocker moldings, and a chrome surround for the windshield. Dual exhaust outlets exit below each side of the rear bumpers, and vented fenders are present on either side of the front end.
Factory steel 15” wheels with full covers are mounted to newer whitewall tires on all four corners. The factory drum brakes have been upgraded to discs.
The interior is fitted with black carpeting and black vinyl bucket seats. There is an analog clock in the center dash, and the car came factory-equipped with a vertically-mounted Delco AM/FM head unit, which has been replaced with a more modern head unit. The 3-spoke steering wheel is equipped with a Corvette flag center insignia.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The 5-digit odometer shows just over 7k miles, which is mileage since the engine was rebuilt.
The 327ci V8 has been rebuilt and was factory-rated at 365 horsepower. The seller indicates that service has been kept up to date, including recently replaced whitewall tires and a new Dewitt radiator with a 2350 CFM fan and a new heater core. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission and positraction rear end.
Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.
The factory original radio and distributor are included in the sale, along with various shop manuals.

@PMV – Are you able to certify that there is no rust on the birdcage of this vehicle? One photo of the undercarriage shows what appears to be some rust through a crossmember of the frame. Do you know what states the car was in before you purchased it? Thank you very much. ...
I can't certify that. The car was purchased 25 years ago in Connecticut and was shipped to Florida with me 5 years after that. Any information prior to my purchase I don't have.
