OVERVIEW
This 1986 GMC K1500 4x4 pickup benefits from a Vortec 6.0-liter LS V8 mated to a rebuilt SM465 four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It rides on a four-inch lifted suspension and comes with a dual exhaust system, 37-inch Nitto tires, Vintage Air air conditioning, a custom radio, a K&N intake, and power brakes. Finished in white over a black vinyl interior, this K1500 Wideside is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The white exterior features chrome bumpers with guards, stacked quad headlights, a cowl-intake hood, stainless steel mirror caps, High Sierra 2500 badging, cab clearance lights, diamond-plate aluminum bed caps, dual fuel tanks, a rubber bed mat, a dual exhaust system, and a hitch receiver.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome 20-inch wheels are wrapped in 37" x 12.50" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior of the cab is fitted with a black vinyl bench seat, matched to the door panels, dash pad, and carpeting. Features include tinted power windows, Vintage Air climate control with air conditioning, a stereo, Sierra Classic badging, and rubber floor mats.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads over 80,000 miles; the last mileage figure recorded on the CARFAX report in 2018 was 81,001. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown. A mileage inconsistency in 2018 is noted on the CARFAX report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The Vortec 6.0-liter LS V8 features a Texas Speed camshaft, a K&N air intake, and an Optima battery. Power is channeled to all four wheels via a floor-shifted rebuilt SM465 four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
