OVERVIEW
This 528-horsepower 1968 Ford Mustang coupe is a Pro Stock build that has accrued 900 miles since it was completed in 2014. It is powered by a Cleveland 393cid stroker V8 mated to a rebuilt C6 three-speed automatic transmission and an Eaton Detroit Locker rear end. Upgrades include an MSD ignition system, an AED Performance carburetor, a shift kit, a stall converter, a roll cage, Wilwood disc brakes, and Mickey Thompson rear tires. Finished in Gulfstream Aqua and black over a custom black vinyl interior, this Mustang is now offered with build sheets, dyno test sheets, maintenance logs, and a clear title in the seller’s name
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was resprayed Gulfstream Aqua during the 2012-2014 build process and features black accents as well as a chin spoiler, a hood scoop, chrome brightwork, and a driver-side mirror. The seller notes light rust at the bottom edge of a rear quarter panel as well as a spot on the bottom of the driver's door.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Center Line 15-inch aluminum wheels are wrapped in 205/55 Goodyear Eagle HP tires up front and 275/50 Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S tires in the rear.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted with custom high-back black vinyl bucket seats, matched to the rear bench, door panels, and carpeting. Features include manual steering, a tubular roll cage, safety harnesses, an aluminum-trimmed center console, a wood steering wheel, a B&M shifter, rubber floor mats, and an AM/FM/CD audio system.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a dash-mounted 9,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, alternator, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 70,150 miles, but the true mileage on the vehicle is unknown. According to the seller, 900 miles have been accrued since the build was completed.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The Cleveland 393cid stroker V8 has been dyno-tested and reportedly produces 528 horsepower at the rear wheels. Recent service includes an oil change and the replacement of the coolant and spark plugs within the last 50 miles per the seller. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a rebuilt C6 three-speed automatic transmission equipped with a lower planetary gear and a nine-inch Eaton Detroit Locker rear end with 4.11 gears. Upgrades include AFD heads, an AED Performance Competition Series carburetor, MSD ignition, a Lunati roller cam, a shift kit, and a 3,000-rpm stall converter.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The manual braking system uses a Wilwood master cylinder and Wilwood front and rear discs.

It sounds like it’s got a bit of a hesitation off idle. Is that because the engine is cold for the shooting of the video? Also, it appears that the left rear brake light is out. It may have just been the angle of the camera, I don’t know. Have you run the quarter mile in it? What was the ETA and the miles per hour? What’s the compression ratio?
