Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This restored 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop is powered by a 200cid inline-six backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a hood scoop, air conditioning, bucket seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, and power brakes. Finished in blue over a two-tone blue vinyl interior, this Mustang comes from the selling dealer with restoration photos, newspaper clippings, removed parts, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the reportedly rust-free body was refinished in blue. Features include chrome bumpers, a hood scoop, hood pins, a fender-mounted antenna, rocker and wheel opening moldings, dual mirrors, and white accent stripes. A walk-around video can be seen below.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch steel wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in 195/75R14 whitewall tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with two-tone blue vinyl bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by blue vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows and steering, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, amps, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 10,758 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 200cid inline-six and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Mustang was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. Dual exhaust outlets exit at the rear.

@LT2 – Is this a numbers matching car? Engine and transmission etc please 🙏 Let me know Thanks LT2 ...

Hello, thank you for your interest. This car is believed to have the original inline 6 cylinder but is unverified and up to the buyer to confirm. Normally if someone were to swap the engine, it would have been swapped to a bigger size, in most cases. Happy bidding and good luck!

@LT2 – Is this a numbers matching car? Does the AC BLOW COLD 🥶 thank you ...

Hello, thank you for your interest. The R134a A/C does perform and operate, will need a recharge sooner or later. This car is believed to have the original inline 6 cylinder but is unverified and up to the buyer to confirm. Normally if someone were to swap the engine, it would have been swapped to a bigger size, in most cases. Happy bidding and good luck!
