OVERVIEW
This 1965 Impala SS Sport Coupe is powered by a 454cid V8 backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include bucket seats, a center console, power steering, electronic ignition, and upgraded power four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in Evening Orchid and equipped with a black vinyl top over a newer black vinyl interior, this Impala Super Sport comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body has been refinished in the original color of Evening Orchid (code P); a black vinyl top has been added. Features include chrome bumpers, Super Sport emblems, wheel opening moldings, and a rear-mounted antenna. The selling dealer states that some minor bubbles are present near the left taillight.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of silver 15-inch Chevrolet Rally wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin was refurbished under previous ownership and comes with black vinyl front bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, amps, and manifold vacuum are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 55,511 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a reportedly period-correct 454cid V8 and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome open-element air cleaner, an HEI distributor, tube headers, a chrome power brake booster, and a chrome dual-circuit master cylinder.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala SS is equipped with an independent front suspension and a 12-bolt rear end. Braking is provided by updated drilled and slotted power four-wheel disc brakes. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

Motor hasn’t been dynoed . Lots of torque unsure of horsepower but you step on it gets up and goes . Not near stock anymore .

The 454 is not Stock any more. Periods correct is incorrect your right. No sure year of block: Casting Number - 361959 Decodes as 73-90 454. The motor is built with intake, a cam and headers. Runs and Drives Strong. I know the previous owner built the motor up and wanted to go fast and make sure it stops fast too. 4 Wheel disc.

The rear trim has been replaced with stock trim. Original stainless black trim replaced. If you decode the original Cowl Tag you can see.
