OVERVIEW
This restored 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is powered by a rebuilt, non-original 350cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, power steering, a tilt steering column, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with an amplifier and a JBL subwoofer, and power front disc brakes. Finished in green with white accent stripes over a black and white vinyl and green cloth interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with vehicle and restoration documentation and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the reportedly rust-free body was finished in green and accented with white stripes. Features include color-keyed bumpers, a cowl-induction hood, Z28 spoilers and fender vents, sport mirror caps, color-matched window moldings, and a rear spoiler. INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with front bucket seats and a matching rear seat upholstered in black and white vinyl and green cloth with lace-up cord accents, surrounded by matching door panels. Features include embroidered Punisher logos, manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with a trunk-mounted Rockford Fosgate amplifier and a JBL subwoofer, and a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 2,788 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt, non-original 350cid V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include polished aluminum Edelbrock valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner housing, and tube exhaust headers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with Positraction and 3.23:1 gears. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
