1982 Ford Bronco XLT 4-Speed

OVERVIEW

This two-owner 1982 Ford Bronco XLT was used in the filming of the Netflix series The Marked Heart and received new paint with a color change, new 33-inch tires, custom leather seats, new brakes, and a new exhaust during a subsequent frame-off restoration. It is powered by a 4.9-liter I6 backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The seller states that this Bronco was black on black before undergoing a full frame-off restoration and color change in 2022. During the restoration process, the reportedly rust-free body was finished in Light Blue (DuPont code B8237) and the removable hardtop was finished in Dark Gray (DuPont code 6634). Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille with LED headlights, a cowl-mounted antenna, chrome side steps, sliding side windows, tinted glass, tailgate trim, and a power tailgate glass.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 15-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels with manual locking hubs is wrapped in 33” x 12.50” BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires that were installed in July 2023.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with custom tan leather front bucket seats, a matching rear seat, and black trim with custom tan accents. Features include power windows and steering, a tilt steering column, a locking center console, floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, a Pioneer touchscreen AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, and air conditioning.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

An 85-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The seller states that the gas gauge shows 3/4 when the tank is full. With 5,000 miles added during the seller's 12-year ownership, the odometer reads 67,215 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage of 67,174 was logged on the CARFAX report in October 2023. 

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 4.9-liter I6 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. UNDERCARRIAGE

This Bronco was factory-equipped with an independent I-beam front suspension, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The new exhaust system exits at the rear through dual tips. An alignment was performed in July 2023.

The CARFAX report starts in October 1981 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Florida. The seller states that this Bronco was used to record the Netflix series The Marked Heart, in which it reportedly was the primary vehicle for the human trafficking militia. The seller will include service records and warranty information for the battery and the tires with the purchase of the vehicle.
