OVERVIEW
This 1997 Nissan Atlas is a Japanese Domestic Market Kei-class light-duty pickup that was imported to the United States by the selling dealer and carries current stateside registration. It receives power from a naturally aspirated TD25 2.5-liter diesel inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes auxiliary lighting, drop-down bedsides, air conditioning, and a radio. Finished in Vail White over a gray and blue vinyl and fabric interior, this Atlas is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Vail White (code 531) exterior features auxiliary lighting, a body-color front bumper, dual side mirrors, plastic window visors, drop-down bedsides, and mud flaps. A placard adjacent to the tailgate denotes a 1,000-kilogram (2,205 pounds) maximum loading capacity. The dealer notes body blemishes and corrosion are visible in the gallery to the right.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Black steel 14-inch wheels are wrapped in 175-width Bridgestone tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The right-hand-drive interior of the cab is fitted with a gray vinyl and blue patterned cloth split-bench seat, matched to the door panels, dash, seat belts, and carpeting. Features include A-pillar grab handles, power windows, air conditioning, and a radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 140-km/h speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 118,008 kilometers (73,326 miles). The dealer asserts that this figure reflects the true kilometrage of the vehicle.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The naturally aspirated TD25 2.5-liter diesel inline-four reportedly received a recent oil change. Power is sent to the wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
