ONE-OWNER 2005 PONTIAC GTO 6-SPEED

OVERVIEW

This 2005 Pontiac GTO has been driven 60,987 miles since new and is powered by a 400-horsepower LS2 6.0-liter V8 backed by a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It remained with the original owner until earlier this year and comes equipped with fog lamps, a spoiler, a dual exhaust system, a Blaupunkt audio system, and drilled and slotted brake rotors. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Cyclone Gray Metallic exterior is rust-free per the selling dealer. Features include fog lamps, hood scoops, GTO fender badging, color-keyed mirror caps, a spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.

Chrome 17-inch five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45 Cooper tires that were installed in 2022 and have accrued approximately 500 miles.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with power-adjustable black leather bucket seats up front, dual seats in the rear, and color-coordinated materials for the door panels, center console, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Equipment includes GTO embroidery, power windows, power door locks, power steering, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt six-disc/10-speaker audio system, and aluminum pedals.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The instrumentation has red dials and consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 60,987 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 54,468 recorded on the CARFAX report in September 2021.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The LS2 6.0-liter V8 is unmodified and was originally rated at 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. A clutch slave cylinder replacement and a coolant change were performed in 2021. Output is sent to the back wheels via a console-shifted six-speed manual transmission and a 3.46:1 limited-slip rear differential.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.
