Vehicle Story

This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette restomod was completed 6 months ago after the seller acquired it as an unfinished project from the previous owner. Modifications include a fuel-injected 350ci V8 from a C4 Corvette, a 700R4 automatic transmission, custom exhaust, an SRIII Motorsports round-tube chassis, power brakes and steering, aftermarket wheels, and a new soft top. The interior is largely stock but for a digital dash, and the exterior received a blue and gray respray three years ago. This C1 is offered with partial rebuild documentation and a clear California title in the seller's name.

The seller completed the build approximately six months ago, but the blue body and gray side covers were painted three years ago under previous ownership. Exterior features include chrome bumpers and trim, correct emblems front and rear, and dual exhaust ports.

17" American Racing wheels are wrapped in 235/50 Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 tires and braking is provided by power four-wheel disc brakes.

The interior remains mostly stock with black vinyl bucket seats, two-tone dash and door panels, and an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette radio. The knob for the passenger-side vent is missing, and the seat belts need to be installed.

A digital dash has replaced the factory unit, and approximately 390 test miles have been added since the build.

Power comes from a 350ci V8 sourced from a C4 Corvette equipped with Holley Sniper fuel injection and mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The original factory engine/transmission combination is not known to the seller. Custom engine bay covers were fabricated and finished in metallic gray to match the exterior coves.

An SRlll Motorsports round-tube chassis was added by the prior owner, as was power steering and a coil-over suspension. The custom exhaust system was added by the current owner.

Partial build documentation from the previous owner and all subsequent seller records will go with the car.

@RickS – GOOD MORNING , FIRST LET ME SAY I THINK YOU HAVE DONE A BEAUTIFUL JOB. I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS , WHAT TYPE MUFFLERS ARE YOU USING , SECOND ARE THE PANELS IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT EASILY REMOVED OR ARE THEY RIVETED IN ? THANK YOU ...

I honestly do not know "what" mufflers were installed but I can look into it. The work was done locally & had to be custom fit. I merely asked them give it a nice throaty sound that wasn't overly loud & obnoxious. The engine compartment panels are removable with a little patience. No Rivets.

Wow! I have my eyes on this one. I'm sure it will go for more than my budget, but I will be watching for sure. Hope it finds a great new home.
