This 1967 Chevrolet Nova underwent a $180k body off restoration at Outlaw Garage in Santa Clarita, California, and was purchased by the seller in December 2018. Finished in Chevrolet Bright Blue Metallic with Graphite stripes over a custom leather interior, the car is powered by a modified 502ci V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include a Fast XFI 2.0 engine management system, custom headers, Fluidyne radiator with dual fan, a new clutch and flywheel assembly, MSD Blaster coil and ignition box, custom transmission tunnel with drive shaft, 3.73 gears, 31-spline axles, a Wilwood brake kit, 4-link suspension with chassis bracing, a 3" exhaust with Spintech mufflers, and much more. This Nova is offered with build records and a clear California title in the seller's name.
The body was stripped to bare metal, resprayed in Bright Blue Metallic with Graphite stripes, and clear-coated at House of Customs. Glass, hardware, weather stripping, and window felt are new, chrome trim has been re-plated, and all stainless has been polished.
18" American Racing wheels are wrapped in 18"x7" front and 18"x10" rear Nitto tires, lighting is provided by Xenon headlights, and the rear end is mini-tubbed to accommodate the staggered stance. Up front is a Goodmark hood with a 2" cowl and Ring Brothers hinges.
The interior was completed by Mike Ambrose and features black leather and suede with contrasting blue stitching, a leather dash with blue French stitching, custom center console with storage and auxiliary power, heated front seats, a leather rear shelf, and a finished trunk housing the relocated gas filler. Dynamat has been applied to the headliner, floors, doors, and trunk for sound reduction.
The driving experience is enhanced with the addition of a custom Budnick steering wheel with a polished hub and tilt, Autometer gauges, LED lighting, Lokar interior accessories, power windows and locks, Vintage air conditioning, and a Kenwood sound system with navigation and Bluetooth paired with Focal speakers and JL audio amplifiers. Since the restoration, the car has traveled 3,300 miles, approximately 2,800 of which have been added by the seller, who asserts that the mileage will not increase because the car is not being driven.
Power is provided by a new Chevrolet Ram Jet 502ci V8 paired with a Tremec 6-peed manual transmission. Performance modifications include an engine-specific clutch and flywheel assembly with a 12" dual friction kit and ARP flywheel bolts, an MSD Blaster coil and ignition box, a Fast XFI 2.0 engine management system, custom fabricated headers, and a Fluidyne high-performance radiator and 80-amp dual fan. Other upgrades consist of a custom transmission tunnel with drive shaft, a Strange Engineering 3rd member with 3.73:1 gears, a 1350 series Daytona yoke and pinion support, a 3" exhaust with Spintech mufflers, and an Aeromotive fuel pump with wrapped exhaust. The seller notes that the oil was changed in December 2020.
Braking is handled by a Wilwood brake kit with a new power brake accumulator for the front and back, and the seller reports no fade or pulling with application. The ride is enhanced with the use of Ridetech shockwave coil-over springs, a 4-link suspension, and mid-chassis braces. Additional upgrades include custom-built Mark Williams 31-spline axles, fender braces, and a Heidts front clip.
All paperwork and documentation from the build, a Covercraft car cover, two sets of keys, a trickle charger, and other miscellaneous items will be included with the car.

I have looked at this car from the previous owner. it was at an airport hanger near Thousand Oaks? Thousand Hills? Lot of body work in this car. I am sure both quarters have been replaced. I would have probably bought the car but did not have an LS in it.
