OVERVIEW

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 17-inch Enkei wheels is wrapped in Nokian WR G4 all-weather radial tires. The seller states that the front tires have logged 20,000 miles and the rear tires have accrued 30,000 miles since installation.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

INTERIOR – GAUGES

The odometer reads 103,967 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage of 85,672 was logged on the CARFAX report in January 2019. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Ford's SVT (Special Vehicle Team) division enhanced the Cosworth-tuned 2.0-liter I4 with variable valve timing, a variable intake manifold, headers, a forged crankshaft, a 10.2:1 compression ratio, a higher 7,200-rpm redline, and a larger exhaust. Output when new was 170 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. Power is backed by an SVT-only Getrag six-speed manual transmission. New parts installed within the last 10,000 miles include the clutch, both front axles and CV joints, alternator, water pump, ignition coil, NOS (new old stock) spark plugs, ignition wires, and battery. The seller states that the engine has a factory block heater, a small oil leak is present, and a slight to mild vibration can be felt over 70 mph.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Focus SVT was factory-equipped with front-wheel drive, an SVT-tuned four-wheel independent suspension with stiffer struts, and enlarged power-assisted 11.8-inch front and 11-inch rear discs. The exhaust system exits at the rear. A new flex pipe and inner and outer tie rods were installed in the summer of 2023. Parts installed within the last 10,000 miles include the front lower control arms, rear shocks, rear lower control arms, and front and rear brake calipers and rotors.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts in June 2003 and shows ownership in Michigan. A collision with another vehicle that caused minor to moderate damage to the front end was reported in February 2007. In June 2019, another accident caused minor damage to the left front section of the vehicle.
