INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with black leather front bucket seats that were replaced in 2021 and a matching rear seat surrounded by black door panels and trim. The selling dealer states that no major rips or tears are present on the front or rear seats. In 2013, the heater cable set and the driver-side seat track were replaced. The horn was repaired in 2021.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, and oil temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 64,063 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. In 2017, the oil and water temperature gauges were rebuilt. The selling dealer states that all gauges are in working order.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by the reportedly original rebuilt 1.8-liter I4 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. In addition to being rebuilt in 2013, the engine received a new valve cover, distributor, spark plugs, and wires. The following year, a new fuel pump and hoses were installed. In 2022, the headlight wiring was repaired. Since 2015, the following new parts have been installed:

• Optima Redtop battery
• Distributor cap
• Ignition rotor

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Volvo was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear. In 2013, a new rear axle pinion seal, fuel gauge sending unit, and transmission shift bushing were installed; the brake system was serviced and the exhaust system was realigned the same year. In 2021, a new transmission mount was installed.
