OVERVIEW
This restored 1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has been with the current owner for 25 years. It is powered by a numbers-matching LS5 454cid V8 that reportedly has been built to 1970 LS5 specifications, bored .030 over, and paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power windows, a factory alarm, a tilt and telescoping steering column, an AM/FM/cassette radio, air conditioning, and power disc brakes. Finished in Classic White and equipped with a manual white vinyl convertible top over a Saddle leather interior, this Corvette comes from the selling dealer with the original fuel tank sticker, the removed original radio and mufflers, receipts, dyno test printouts, restoration photos, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration in 2000, the exterior was finished in the original color of Classic White (code 972) and equipped with a manual white vinyl convertible top. Features include chrome bumpers, pop-up headlights, a big-block hood with 454 emblems, hideaway windshield wipers, dual rearview mirrors, a factory alarm system connected to a nonfunctional horn, and a rear-mounted antenna. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Corvette Rally wheels with chrome center caps and trim rings is wrapped in 245/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with Saddle leather-upholstered bucket seats surrounded by Saddle door panels, carpet, and trim. Features include power windows and steering, a tilt and telescoping steering column, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, factory air conditioning, and a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 76,049 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a numbers-matching LS5 454cid V8 that has reportedly been built to 1970 LS5 specifications and bored .030 over. The engine is connected to a three-speed automatic transmission and has been dyno-tested, producing 396 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an electronic ignition coil, a chrome distributor cover, a chrome air filter housing with a K&N filter, and cast iron exhaust manifolds. The selling dealer states that this Corvette was maintained by Unique Performance in Medford, New York.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power discs, which are equipped with a new booster. The dual exhaust system has dual-chamber Flowmaster mufflers and exits at the rear.

Morning Donald, This is an Automatic, Sorry about that... Does she have 4 wheel disc brakes? -Yes, and She Stops Great Does everything work? -Yes, Everything Works, the Clock is Intermittent though. Anything leak? -No Leaks, I don't think the Top Leaks, Never Driven it in the Rain. Does the BBC start and run well? -Yes, Starts Right up, Runs Great and Has Always Been Reliable Trans shift smoothly? -Yes, No Issues
