OVERVIEW
This 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu convertible is powered by a Turbo-Fire 283cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include bucket seats, a tilt steering column, a center console, manual steering, and manual brakes. Finished in black and equipped with a black convertible top over a white vinyl interior, this Chevelle comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body was originally finished in Desert Beige (code 938) but is currently black and equipped with a black convertible top. Features include chrome bumpers, rocker and wheel well moldings, dual rearview mirrors, a rear-mounted antenna, and rear body trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch black wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in 205/75 whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with white vinyl bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by white vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows and steering, a tilt steering column, a nonfunctional radio, and a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located in front of the driver. The odometer reads 55,879 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by the reportedly original Turbo-Fire 283cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller states that the battery, battery cables, spark plug wires, and distributor cap have been replaced. An oil change was completed in November 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Chevelle was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

It is not a power top and works perfect. The vehicle resides in Arizona and has never seen rain so wouldn’t be able to provide an honest answer on if it leaks. When I wash her, I don’t go over the top. I use a cleaner and conditioner for the top.
