This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is powered by a rebuilt 4-barrel 283ci Power Pack V8 paired with a factory Powerglide automatic transmission and was purchased by the seller's father from Volo Auto Museum over 18 years ago. The car had been previously restored with new Surf Green/India Ivory paint, re-plated chrome, polished stainless trim, new brakes, a new exhaust, and more. Engine and transmission work was undertaken approximately 10 years ago, and less than 2,000 miles have been added since. Additional upgrades include a newer fuel tank, radiator, and suspension parts. This fourth-generation Bel Air shows approximately 41k miles and is offered with a clear Florida title in the seller's name.
A Surf Green/India Ivory respray was applied during the restoration 20 years ago, and imperfections include chipping on various panels. The chrome trim was re-plated, and the stainless steel was polished at that time as well.
Reverse lamps were added under prior ownership, and the car sits on chrome spinners wrapped in 20-year-old 7.5"x14" whitewall rubber.
The interior is trimmed in two-tone green and black vinyl, with new carpet, seat belts, floor mats, and weather stripping were added at the time of the restoration. The trunk compartment was also refurbished at that time.
Both the clock and the radio were refurbished during the restoration, and electric windshield wipers were added. The odometer shows approximately 41k miles, 2k of which have been added in the past two decades, and the seller states the mileage is accurate and original.
The Chevy 283ci was introduced in 1957 with four options, including the 4-barrel version found in this car. Both it and the 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission were rebuilt under current ownership approximately 10 years ago. Other work has included hardening of the valves to allow for the use of unleaded fuel, installation of a new radiator, and regular oil and maintenance services performed by the seller.
Brakes were previously replaced, as was the exhaust, and a newer fuel tank and suspension parts have been added by the seller.
A custom car cover and an original owner's guide are included in the sale.

If it has a clean Florida title why is the car in Las Vegas. I live in Florida and transportation costs could add 20 t0 30% to the cost of the car!
