OVERVIEW
This restored 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray split-window coupe is equipped with a period-correct replacement 327cid V8 that has been built to produce 340 horsepower and a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. Features include knock-off wheels, power windows, and an AM/FM/cassette radio. Finished in Merlot Metallic over a Saddle vinyl interior, this Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration process, the body was finished in Merlot Metallic. Features include hideaway headlights, chrome bumpers, rocker trim, and a rear antenna. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch aluminum knock-off turbine-style wheels is wrapped in 265/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with Saddle vinyl bucket seats surrounded by Saddle vinyl door panels and trim. Features include power windows, manual steering, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 2,284 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a period-correct replacement 327cid V8 and backed by a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer states that the engine is equipped with the correct components for a factory-rated 340-horsepower car. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, and a chrome air cleaner housing.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette is equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle with Positraction. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

The ad says "During the restoration process, the body was finished in Merlot Metallic." So it appears it is not original paint. The first line calls it a "restored" vehicle, given that, and the interior looks very new and fresh, it is a safe bet that the interior is not original either. Re the mileage, it says "The odometer reads 2,284 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown."
