OVERVIEW

This 15,056-mile 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula SLP Firehawk coupe is #44 of approximately 500 Firebirds that received cosmetic and mechanical upgrades from Street Legal Performance (SLP) of Toms River, New Jersey when new. It is powered by an LT1 5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and comes with a cold air induction system, removable T-tops, an optional three-inch performance exhaust system, and power disc brakes. Finished in Medium Teal Blue Metallic over a Graphite cloth interior, this two-owner Firehawk is now offered by the selling dealer with owner’s booklets, an accident-free CARFAX report, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The condition of the Medium Teal Blue Metallic (code 37) exterior is reportedly consistent with the car’s low mileage, although the selling dealer notes the presence of minor imperfections in the gallery to the right. Features include pop-up headlights, dual hood scoops connected to a cold air induction system, removable glass T-tops, Firehawk decals, an integrated rear spoiler, and twin driver-side outlets for the optional performance exhaust system.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The 2+2 cockpit is fitted with Graphite cloth bucket seats up front, a pair of fold-down seats in the rear, and complementary neutral materials for the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include power windows, power door locks, cruise control, power steering, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel on a tilt column, an AM/FM/cassette radio with an equalizer, and air conditioning. A placard identifies this car as number 44 in the 1994 SLP Firehawk production run.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 15,056 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 14,954 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in 2022.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Equipped with the optional three-inch performance exhaust system, the LT1 5.7-liter V8 was rated at 315 horsepower and 342 lb-ft of torque. Equipment includes an Edelbrock throttle body. According to the CARFAX report, an oil change was performed in 2022 within the last 200 miles. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE
