OVERVIEW
This custom 1969 Chevrolet C10 panel truck was restored approximately four years ago and is powered by a 355cid V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and an Eaton limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a newer exhaust system, power steering, a B&M shifter, a 0.030 overbore, an upgraded camshaft, a B&M 2,800-rpm-stall torque converter, and power front disc brakes. Finished in orange and satin black over a reupholstered black cloth and vinyl interior, this second-generation C10 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body was repainted orange and satin black during the restoration completed around 2020. Features include chrome brightwork, dual side mirrors, stainless steel side-exit exhaust outlets, and side-hinged rear doors.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
The American Racing Outlaw I aluminum wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich front and Land Rover rear tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted with reupholstered black cloth and vinyl high-back bucket seats with orange piping up front, a matching reupholstered bench in the rear, and complementary materials for the door panels, newer dash, newer headliner, and carpeting. Features include newer door seals, manual-crank windows, power steering, a heater, a radio, and a B&M shifter. The rear passenger and cargo areas have wooden plank flooring.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 76,045 miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 355cid V8 has been bored .030 over and uses an upgraded camshaft. Power is channeled to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with a B&M 2,800-rpm-stall torque converter and a shift kit. The rear end is a rebuilt 12-bolt unit with Richmond gears and an Eaton Posi limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by a power braking system with a dual-circuit master cylinder, front discs, and rear drums.
