This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette was produced during the Corvette's third generation, which spanned the 1968 through 1982 model years. Its dark brown body work features pop-up headlamps with dual round lights, body-color T-tops, and original rally wheels inside of BFGoodrich tires. According to the seller, the interior has been "completely restored to 1974 specs" and features its original AM/FM radio and A/C system, which has been rebuilt. The front-hinged hood covers the original, rebuilt 350ci V8 engine. That's connected to an automatic transmission and new exhaust system with dual finishers. Located in McKinney, Texas, this 1974 Corvette is available now with repair receipts and current registration.
For the 1974 model year, Chevrolet revised the Corvette's design by fitting it with color-keyed urethane bumpers, including a two-piece rear unit with a vertical center seam. This particular Stingray is coated in dark brown paint. It features pop-up headlights and chrome highlights around the windshield and on the driver's-side mirror housing and rocker panels. A pair of body-color T-tops cover the two-seat passenger compartment.
According to the seller, this Corvette rides on its original rally wheels. Those are surrounded by 3-year old BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires with 4,000 miles on them.
The seller reports the tan interior was restored to 1974 specifications. Equipment includes dual bucket seats, manual crank windows, a black-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, and the original AM/FM radio. The original A/C system has been rebuilt and equipped with a replacement evaporator coil. According to the seller, it blows cold air.
The main gauge pod includes a 160-mph speedometer and tachometer. The center stack houses fuel, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery gauges, as well as a clock, which the seller notes does not work.
The engine bay contains the original 350ci small-block V8, which has undergone a rebuild and features orange valve covers. It sends its output through an automatic transmission and breathes through a new exhaust system.
The suspension setup is equipped with new shocks. At the rear, there are replacement axle supports.
Car comes with a current registration sticker. Repair receipts are available.
