OVERVIEW
This 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe coupe underwent a frame-off build completed in August 2023. It is powered by a new BluePrint Engines 350cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include bucket seats, power windows, a center console, air conditioning, a tilt steering column, an independent front suspension, and power disc brakes. Finished in red over a two-tone tan leather interior, this Chevrolet comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the build process, the reportedly rust-free body was finished in red. Features include chrome bumpers, dual rearview mirrors, black rubber running boards, and custom taillights. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch polished aluminum American Racing Torq Thrust wheels is wrapped in 205/60 front and 235/60 rear Hankook Kinergy radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with two-tone tan leather bucket seats and a tan center console surrounded by tan door panels and trim. Features include power windows, manual steering, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a banjo steering wheel with a tan leather grip, a vintage-look AM/FM stereo, and air conditioning. The two-tier trunk contains the spare tire and the battery.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A set of AutoMeter gauges that includes a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 194 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a new BluePrint Engines 350cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner housing, a chrome alternator, and block-hugger headers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The chassis has been modified to accept an independent front suspension and a Ford 8.8-inch solid rear axle with 3.70:1 gears and a limited-slip differential. Braking is provided by power discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
