2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 Z71 ROCKY RIDGE CONVERSION

OVERVIEW

This customized 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Z71 4X4 Double Cab pickup has been upgraded with equipment from Rocky Ridge Trucks that includes a custom exhaust system, 20-inch Dick Cepek wheels, 35-inch RBP (Rolling Big Power) tires, and a lifted suspension. It is powered by an EcoTec3 5.3-liter V8 mated to a Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmission and an AutoTrac dual-range transfer case. Finished in Blue Topaz Metallic over a Jet Black and Dark Ash cloth interior, this third-generation Silverado is now offered by the selling dealer with an owner’s manual, service records, a CARFAX report, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Blue Topaz Metallic exterior is complemented by chrome bumpers, HID headlight bulbs, mesh grille inserts, color-keyed fender flares, tubular chrome side steps, a spray-in bedliner, a Reese Towpower hitch receiver cover, smoked taillight covers, LED license plate lighting, and a newer custom exhaust system with Bully outlets. The selling dealer notes some dings on top of one of the fenders and on the tailgate.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

The 20-inch Dick Cepek six-spoke aluminum wheels are wrapped in 35-inch RBP Repulsor M/T off-road tires.  

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is optioned with Jet Black and Dark Ash charcoal cloth bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching trim for the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include keyless entry, tinted power windows, power door locks, power steering, cruise control, a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a backup camera, a stereo with satellite radio connectivity, a MyLink infotainment system with an eight-inch color touchscreen, and dual illuminated vanity mirrors.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer currently reads 124,500 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 123,267 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in late 2023.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The EcoTec3 5.3-liter V8 was rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque when new. It features Active Fuel Management, direct fuel injection, and continuously variable valve timing. The dealer has performed a synthetic oil change in preparation for the sale. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a column-shifted Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmission and an AutoTrac dual-range transfer case with an automatic mode.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The suspension has been lifted. Braking comes from anti-lock discs and a new ABS (anti-lock braking system) pump. An underbody transfer case shield was included in the Z71 package.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report begins in August 2013 and shows ownership in New York and Massachusetts. A December 2019 entry indicates this truck was involved in an accident with another vehicle. Minor damage to the front was reported in August 2022. In addition, structural damage was disclosed during an inspection in August 2023, The structural announcement was made because the ROCKY RIDGE conversion modifies the chassis in order to lift the truck correctly. A Massachusetts emissions inspection was performed in December 2023. Service records and an owner’s manual will come with the truck.
