OVERVIEW
This 1940 Ford DeLuxe Coupe received a power-opening trunk, an updated interior, and an upgraded engine and transmission combination as part of a custom build. It is powered by a BluePrint Engines 383cid stroker V8 equipped with a FiTech Fuel Injection system and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a tilt steering column, a power driver’s seat, and a Mustang II-style independent front suspension. Finished in blue metallic over a saddle tan interior, this Ford comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body is finished in blue metallic. Features include a removed front bumper, shaved hood trim, dual rearview mirrors, a remote-activated power trunk lid, and a chrome rear bumper. A walk-around video can be seen below.

INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with saddle tan vinyl bucket seats surrounded by matching vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, a tilt steering column, and manual steering. The trunk is upholstered to match the cabin.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 140-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 7,297 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a BluePrint Engines 383cid stroker V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, a body-color intake manifold, a FiTech Fuel Injection system, and a finned aluminum air cleaner housing.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The chassis has been modified to accept a Mustang II-style independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Stopping is performed by manual brakes. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
