Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1986 Chevrolet K10 was rebuilt in 1990 and is powered by a 406cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a bar grille insert, a windshield visor, wheel flares, an aftermarket cab fairing, dual fuel tanks, 38-inch tires, power steering, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with a remote, power front disc brakes, and a six-inch lift. Finished in copper metallic over a two-tone gray vinyl and cloth interior, this garage-kept Chevrolet comes from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The copper metallic body features fog lights, a tubular front bumper guard, chrome bumpers, a custom grille insert, a windshield visor, side window visors, wheel flares, an aftermarket cab fairing panel, a sliding rear window, chrome rocker panel trim, a short Fleetside pickup box, dual fuel tanks, and a tailgate protector.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 15-inch aluminum American Racing aluminum wheels with manual locking front hubs is wrapped in 38” x 15.50” Denman Ground Hawg II radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a two-tone gray vinyl and cloth bench seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with a remote, and a Cobra CB radio.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

An 85-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. A Suntune II 8,000-rpm tachometer is mounted to the steering column. Sunpro auxiliary gauges under the dashboard show the coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The odometer reads 58,237 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage of 58,019 was logged in the CARFAX report in November 2021.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The original engine has been replaced with a 406cid V8, which is backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Engine bay features include aluminum heads, cast aluminum valve covers, a dual four-barrel tunnel ram intake manifold, dual four-barrel carburetors, chrome air cleaner housings, an MSD electronic ignition system, and a roller camshaft.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet was factory-equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. A six-inch suspension lift has been installed. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts in May 1987 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Pennsylvania.
