This Bird appears to be either a base Firebird or an Esprit (fenders are not Formula fenders, Formula emblem is absent). Is the YS code 400 a replacement or was it originally a 2bbl? Putting a Formula hood on a non-Formula car often results in poor hood fit. Does it have a Suretrack differential or is it an open differential? What is the gear ratio?
@hegawn2 – From the video it appears the hood is bowed in the center on each side when closed? Could you please provide clarification and confirm? ...
The hood could be adjusted to fit better . It looks like a slight bow . I believe it could be fixed
