396-POWERED 1970 CHEVROLET C10

OVERVIEW

This 1970 Chevrolet C10 was restored and customized in 2000. It is powered by a BluePrint Engines 396cid small-block V8 backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a 3,000-rpm-stall torque converter. Features include a wood bed floor, a color-matched hard tonneau cover, power steering, a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette radio, front disc brakes, and a lowered suspension. Finished in white over a charcoal gray cloth and black vinyl interior, this C10 comes with receipts and a clear title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration and customization process, the body was refinished in white and accented with multi-color custom striping. Features include a front roll pan in place of the bumper, dual rearview mirrors, a short Stepside pickup box, a body-color hard tonneau cover, a wood bed floor, a rear roll pan, and 1940s Chevrolet taillights. INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a black vinyl and charcoal gray cloth bench seat surrounded by charcoal gray cloth door panels and white metal trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a floor-mounted Hurst Pro-Matic 2 automatic transmission shifter, and a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette radio. The seller notes a tear in the driver’s seat.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, battery, temperature, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. Additional gauges for the water temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 2,439 miles, which reflects the mileage logged since the restoration. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a BluePrint Engines 396cid small-block V8 and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission equipped with a 3,000-rpm-stall torque converter. Engine bay features include aluminum heads, chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an 850-cfm Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner housing. An MSD electronic ignition system, a set of MSD Super Conductor spark plug wires, Hedman headers with a high-temperature coating, a Lokar throttle spring return bracket, a high-torque mini starter, an electric fuel pump, and a heavy-duty battery have been installed. The seller states that the most recent service was completed in 2023.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet is equipped with a lowered suspension and a 12-bolt rear differential with 3.73:1 gears and Positraction. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums.
