This 1932 Ford 5-window "Flatlander" glass-body coupe was the recipient of a comprehensive, six-figure build completed approximately 10 years ago and is offered by a street rod expert with three decades of experience. Powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 mated to a TH350 automatic transmission, the car is finished in red over a red leather and suede interior. This custom Ford is offered with documentation of the build and a clean Florida title.
This Flatlander glass-body is finished in red with a steel three-piece Rootlieb hood. Exterior features include drip rails, a folding windshield, functional cowl vent, and exposed door hinges similar to steel body examples.
Wire wheels with "V8" emblazoned center caps are wrapped in staggered-width Firestone Firehawk tires. Handling is managed by way of a chrome steering shaft and front end.
The custom interior features genuine red leather and suede upholstery with matching door panels, dash, and carpet. Modern amenities include power windows and custom under-dash switches for lighting, the stereo, and ignition.
An 8k tachometer is mounted on the steering column behind the 4-spoke Billet Specialties steering wheel, while all other gauges are housed within the custom cluster.
Power is delivered by a 350ci Chevrolet small-block V8, which is shifted automatically through a TH350 transmission. Inside the engine bay are an electric radiator cooling fan, ceramic headers, a chrome air cleaner, valve covers, and an alternator.
Photos show an underside painted red to match the body and the presence of a dual exhaust system.
Receipts of the build will go with the car.
