OVERVIEW

This modified 1997 Ford Mustang GT coupe is powered by a Vortech-supercharged 4.6-liter Modular V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a Borla dual exhaust system. It comes equipped with new intake, cooling system, and steering components as well as SR Performance lowering springs, upgraded anti-sway bars, and subframe connectors. Finished in Midnight Moonlight Blue Metallic over a gray leather interior, this fourth-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with the original owner's manual, service records, two keys with remotes, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes the factory 150-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure gauges. AutoMeter gauges have been added to the driver-side A-pillar and show the air/fuel ratio, fuel pressure, and boost pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 41,792 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate and inclusive of the 74 miles traveled between when the vehicle was serviced under previous ownership and when the dealer acquired it. The latest mileage figure of 47,718 miles was logged in the CARFAX report in December 2023. According to the selling dealer, the mileage discrepancy is due to a typographical error when the mileage was recorded during service on December 22, 2023.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Vortech V2-supercharged 4.6-liter Modular V8 has been upgraded with a Setrab oil cooler, Taylor Cable Products wires, BBK Performance headers, and a BBK Performance fuel pressure regulator. In December 2023, the oil was changed and the intake manifold, power steering pump, thermostat, and serpentine belt were replaced. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Handling is assisted by power steering; stopping power comes from power-assisted disc brakes. The suspension is equipped with SR Performance lowering springs, BBK Performance upper strut tower adjusters, upgraded anti-sway bars, Southside Machine Performance upper and lower rear control arms, and subframe connectors. According to the CARFAX report, a thrust angle alignment was performed in December 2023.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The accident-free CARFAX report shows ownership in Ohio, New York, and Oklahoma. The vehicle passed a New York safety and emissions inspection in July 2022. The sale includes the original owner's manual, service records, and two keys with remotes.
